We hope that these answers will help you to plan your trip better and‪ make your stay more comfortable.


  • What is the cancellation policy?
    Because we are such a small operation, we have what might appear to be a strict cancellation policy.‪All cancellations must be made 7 days prior to 6pm of the scheduled arrival date. A one-night room fee will be forfeited for no-shows or in the case of failure to cancel prior to the 7 day deadline. In order to protect ourselves from last minute cancellations, we do require holding credit card numbers on file from the moment of confirmation to the moment of departure. We, ourselves, are travelers and know that emergencies can and do occur. We thank you in advance for understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
  • What are the standard check-in and check-out times?
    The standard check-in time is 03:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m.
  • What is the best way to book/reserve a room?
    At Hollywood Cottages you have several options to book or request a room. The easiest way is to use our secured booking system by clicking here. Furthermore you a can make a request for a room and get a quote by clicking here. Another easy way is just to call us, ask your questions and make your reservation under (705) 429 2914.
  • Is it possible to check-in earlier?
    It is sometimes possible to check in earlier, however, this depends on availability and cannot be guaranteed. If you have a reservation and need an early check-in, please email us or call in the day before your check-in and we will try to arrange it for you. Most of the time it should be possible. However, at 3:00 p.m. your room will be ready for you.
  • How do I get to Hollywood?

  • Do you offer housekeeping?
    I am sorry but we are not providing daily housekeeping and towel exchange but If you stay longer than 3 days, please ask us and we will work something out for you.
  • What is provided in the rooms?
    All rooms have the following items: air conditioning, linens, towels, color cable LCD TV, Free Wifi, Tassimo coffee maker with a starter-kit, refreshments and fully-equipped kitchenette. The kitchenettes are equipped with a 1/2 size fridge and freezer, 2 stove tops, sink, dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, kettle, ice cube tray, BBQ utensils, can opener, wine bottle opener and a toaster. The following items are available upon request: microwave, hairdryer.
  • Are pets allowed?
    Sorry, no pets allowed!
  • Is there free parking?
    Yes, we offer free parking on our property. One vehicle is allowed per room. If you require more space, please let us know so that we can arrange something for you.
  • Is smoking allowed in the rooms?
    No, all rooms are non-smoking rooms. Outside the rooms on the property smoking is allowed. Please use the assigned cigarette bins.
  • Do you offer free B.B.Q. rentals?
    Yes, we offer free BBQ rentals. On our property we have 4 shared BBQ’s at assigned picnic areas waiting for you.
  • How far away is the beach?
    The main beach (Beach Area 1/2) is literally a 2 min. walk across the street.
  • What can we do in Wasaga Beach beside going to the beach?
